Don´t Fence me in.

The act of moving through and interacting with a new enviroment, in search for certain elements, infers a phisical movement wich in turn generates intellectual thinking, both at the level of daily life and at artistic level. this is a quest for an alternative definition of reality: pictorically, photographically, abstract and organic, and through the de-constextualization of our present reality.

The Matter of Words. BYU Museum of Art.

Last thursday April 7 th was the opening of  the exhibition The Matter of Words at the BYU Museum of Art.

Artists: Adam Bateman, Harrel Fletcher and John Fraser.

As you are able to see by the photographs, Adam Bateman´s sculpture, titled fourth thousand years , made with books, domains the space of the gallery.

14 teen  feet  tall, 16 teen feet wide, 20 feet deep.

weith: 83.000 pounds, 40 ton aprox.

Vistas del estudio y alrededores... incluidos visitantes matutinos inesperados.

Como podéis ver no bromeo cuando digo que me encuentro rodeado de NATURALEZA por todas partes. Ir al estudio, se convierte en algo más que un mero paseo, unas veces voy con todo el camino nevado y vuelvo tras haberse derretido toda la nieve por un camino de tierra y piedras, o viceversa.

La nieve es increíblemente esponjosa, como dulce de algodón, no sé si había visto nunca una ramita tan fina sosteniendo semejante volumen de nieve..

De vez en cuando me cruzo con mis vecinos..... en este caso por la mañana temprano al levantarme. No deja de sorprenderme la tranquilidad que muestran en algunos casos. Hoy muy temprano por la mañana he visto un venado a través del cristal de la puerta de casa, como a dos metros, que parecía preguntarse con mirada inquisitiva ¿que haces levantado a estas horas?.

Cambios de Luz y color.

Como podéis ver los cambios continuos tiempo y condiciones atmosféricas me brindan una cantidad increíble de información.
